We began playing poker as a group in December of 2004 and Homer Poker League was created in 2005 when we began playing monthly NL Texas Hold 'Em tournaments. We started with only 4 members (Joe Frenia, Jim Miller, Greg Liberatore, and Dave Shea) and have since expanded to almost 100 players. We now play biweekly (Saturdays at 6 pm) NL Texas Hold 'Em tournaments in the form of a season leading up to our yearly HPL Championship.

Our tournaments range from 10-18 players so far, but our goal is to get to 20 players or more for every tournament!
